Improving vocabulary skills requires constant attention. Keeping this
goal in mind, at Senior school, we hold vocabulary tests periodically
i.e. two in the first term. Usage of words in sentences, synonyms and
Homophones were introduced. This is to help the students to be fluent in
spoken and written English. These tests were held on 17th of April and
18th of July, 2006. Thus, an endeavour is made to expand the students’
vocabulary in specific subject areas in ways that are fun and enriching.

Regular sessions on career counseling, an important feature of the senior school are Conducted by eminent
professionals from different walks of life. These sessions have helped students develop a clearer view about various
professions. It has helped greatly in creating an awareness amongst students about various courses and job opportunities. The central theme of the expositions of these experts is that all professions are equally good and one must choose a profession in which one is really
interested. The sessions have greatly helped in changing their outlook and brought them one step
closer to realizing their dream. In the end, however, it is only handwork
that separates the winners from the
losers.
