The Columban Open Quiz was held on the 26th , 27th  & 28^th of July' 2007 in the Edmund Rice Hall.

Two hundred and ninety teams from prestigious schools across Delhi participated in the quiz.

The preliminary rounds were held on the 26th and 27th while the COQ - final was held on the 28th July.

The prizes included cash and a crystal rolling trophy. The First prize and rolling trophy were bagged by DPS Noida. The 2nd and 3rd prizes were won by Mother's International School and Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan respectively.

Ex-Columban Piyush Singh, Sujay Mathais, Anurag Murthy and Noel Thomas did a fine job as quiz masters for the elimination round and quarter finals.

The semi finals and the Final were conducted by Mr. Aditya Nath Mubayi for the third consecutive year.

Our boys of class XI B managed to sponsor food for the organizers on July 26th, 27th and 28th.

The event was a grand success under the supervision and dedicated work of the moderator Mrs. K. Singh with the help of Mrs. R. Popli, Mrs. R. Sharma, Mrs. R. Pharasi, Mrs. S. Chandra and Mrs. C. Garg.
