Every session marks a new beginning. Therefore, the first day, when the children, all feeling rejuvenated, enthusiastic and excited, come to the school in their clean and crisp uniforms, it becomes a very special day. To make it all the more special, a welcome assembly was organized by Ms Edmunds on 14th March at 7:30 a.m. This day we formally said good bye to our class 3 boys who now move on to the Middle section of the school.
Br. Miranda and Mrs. Ghai also addressed the Assembly and greeted everyone to the new session. The children were congratulated on their promotion to their next class and were advised to take up all their tasks with sincerity and seriousness. Well begun is well done.
The boys of the Junior School presented a
fine musical medley, highlighting the essence of X'Mas. The nativity play was
enacted with great fevour by the young boys. The whole school joined in the
celebration with joy and wished each other good tidings for the coming new year
Annual Sports Day of Junior School
was celebrated with much fan fare on 9th Dec. 2016 in the school
playground. The Columban coloured - green and gold balloons soared up high in
the sky as the Principal, Br. Miranda declared the meet open. The boys from KG - Class 3 pledged the sportsmanship as they took the oath. The grit and stamina
of the junior school boys came into display as they participated in various
races. Smiles adorned the faces of the teachers and the parents as the boys
displayed the Novelty items - Caterpillar race, hockey race etc. The air echoed
with applause as boys of KG-class 3 presented their class drills. The ceremony
culminated with numerous medals and prizes given by esteemed guests from the
Parish, Ministries Office and the Provincial Leader. The highlight of the event
were (specially invited) Ex-Columbans from 2007-08 batch who graced the occasion.
Founder's day was celebrated with cheer and enthusiasm on 6th
May in the Junior School.
The boys of class 3B enacted a short play depicting the life
of our Founder Edmund Rice, with the help of their teachers Ms. Edmond, Mrs P
Arora and Ms Kinneret.
Edmund's values of caring for the needy, loving and sharing
were signified in the skit.

The fight for a clean environment continues in a climate of increasing urgency, as the ravages of climate change become more manifest every day.
On Earth Day (22nd April) we need to take a stand so that together, we can show the world a new direction. It's our turn to lead. We educate our children to be aware of the environment concerns and do their little bit to save the Earth.
A Special Assembly was organized on 3rd May to bid a fond farewell to Br. M.R. Beddoe who leaves to take a new assignment. The boys of classes 1, 2 and 3 put forth poems, songs and dances to thank the Principal.
