Title : CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

The boys of the Junior School presented a fine musical medley, highlighting the essence of X'Mas. The nativity play was enacted with great fevour by the young boys. The whole school joined in the celebration with joy and wished each other good tidings for the coming new year 2017.

Title : SPORTS DAY

The Annual Sports Day of Junior School was celebrated with much fan fare on 9th Dec. 2016 in the school playground. The Columban coloured - green and gold balloons soared up high in the sky as the Principal, Br. Miranda declared the meet open. The boys from KG - Class 3 pledged the sportsmanship as they took the oath. The grit and stamina of the junior school boys came into display as they participated in various races. Smiles adorned the faces of the teachers and the parents as the boys displayed the Novelty items - Caterpillar race, hockey race etc. The air echoed with applause as boys of KG-class 3 presented their class drills. The ceremony culminated with numerous medals and prizes given by esteemed guests from the Parish, Ministries Office and the Provincial Leader. The highlight of the event were (specially invited) Ex-Columbans from 2007-08 batch who graced the occasion.

Title : Founders Day (2016 - 2017)

Founder's day was celebrated with cheer and enthusiasm on 6th May in the Junior School.

The boys of class 3B enacted a short play depicting the life of our Founder Edmund Rice, with the help of their teachers Ms. Edmond, Mrs P Arora and Ms Kinneret.

Edmund's values of caring for the needy, loving and sharing were signified in the skit.

The story of Blessed Edmund Rice has inspired generations of people across the world. Among the values that we cherish from his tradition are  his humanity, his practical reaching out to the poor and the marginalised, and his absolute trust in God?s providence. The Christian Brothers along with their dedicated staff carry the good work forward.

Title : Earth Day (2016 - 2017)

The fight for a clean environment continues in a climate of increasing urgency, as the ravages of climate change become more manifest every day. 

On Earth Day (22nd April) we need to take a stand so that together, we can show the world a new direction. It's our turn to lead. We educate our children to be aware of the environment concerns and do their little bit to save the Earth.

Title : Labour Day (2016 - 2017)

May Day is also known as Labour Day and is celebrated on 1st May each year. The Special Assembly was organized which started with a prayer for them 

The children prayed for them and their families. A Token of appreciation was handed over to each one of them acknowledging their efforts.

Title : Br. Beddoe Farewell (2016 - 2017)

A Special Assembly was organized on 3rd May to bid a fond farewell to Br. M.R. Beddoe who leaves to take a new assignment. The boys of classes 1, 2 and 3 put forth poems, songs and dances to thank the Principal.

Goodbyes are not forever,

Goodbyes are not the end,

They simply mean we'll miss you,

Until we meet again!

Title : Mrs. Gidwani Farewell (2016 - 2017)

The teachers organized a special programme to bid farewell to Mrs. Gidwani who retires after serving the Institution for 34 years.

Cheers and tears, high fives and cries - this is the crazy roller coaster ride of emotions that we're going through, The teachers bidding farewell. Goodbye. Mrs. Gidwani.

Title : First Day For KG Boys In School (2016 - 17)

Making Kindergarten 'fun'

The KG boys started their school on the 4th of April. The classes had beautiful displays making the class look welcoming and colourful.

The orientation (which was held a week earlier) helps create the foundation for positive relationships between parents, teachers and students that sets the stage for a smooth transition to school and future success. 

We aspire to continue making the first day in the classroom a happy and successful experience for all our boys in all the sections of the KG.

Title : Guru Nanak Jayanti 2015 - 2016

The festival of Guru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated with great fervour by the boys of the class 3C on the 24th of Nov. under the able guidance of Mrs Talwar. The teachings of Guru Nanak Devji - NAM JAPO, KIRAT KARO and VAND CHAKO were highlighted. The chanting of EK ON KAR - GOD IS ONE and the music of 'Satnam Vahe Guru' echoed through the Junior school as the enthusiastic boys of class 3C, through a short presentation, depicted how they can, young as they are, incorporate the teachings of Guru Nanak Devji in their daily lives.

Title : One Nation - Reading together 2015 - 2016

A special 'Reading Session' was organized in the Junior School on 27th Nov. The activity initiated by Scholastic India gave a cherished opportunity to the whole of Junior school - the Headmistress, the teaching staff, the students and even the support staff to read together at one given time. The activity 'One Nation Reading together' emphasized on the importance of books in our lives and how they form an indispensable part of our learning and awareness. For whole of half an hour the buzz and sound of the ever noisy Junior school gave way to the peaceful silence of 'READING'.
