Emphasis is on encouraging the children to think and experiment with different figures, shapes and sketches and combining them into a composition of their own. As they move on, to a higher class, importance is given to the usage of different kinds of material for eg. Oil pastels, pencil colours, sketch pens, poster colours etc..

The wiz kids of the Junior school exhibit their computer skills in this activity period. Class 1 boys use various educational software packages to enhance their keyboard usage and mouse handling skills. Class 2 and class 3 boys learn and implement programming language LOGO.

Children look forward to the multimedia class as they enjoy watching various educational CD’s on a large screen. It is an interactive activity period where they gain additional knowledge about topics done in class in a visual form. It is a fun-filled learning experience with further reinforcement of the work done in class rooms.

Singing time is a stress buster from their aesthetic rendering brings ultimate inner happiness and they sometimes dance with joy
 

The main aim of teaching is to inculcate a sense of tune, rhythm and feeling in the budding wards. This is accompanied with values regarding God, ethics, patriotism, nature, festivals  etc. and respect for one’s environment.  

The P. T. periods are a time to stretch and work out for the boys. They are more than merry to get a chance to run and jog. They play games, perform P. T exercises and have fun in the field. Though this seems a ‘child play” but it gets so rigorous when the boys compete in races. 

The social worker / counsellor of the Junior School works with children who come from dysfunctional families and with those who have problems adjusting to the school environment. She focuses on areas like fair play, respecting others, cooperation, tolerance, team building and improving concentration through games, role-play and individual / group activities. She also works towards developing self-esteem and confidence in a child by providing opportunities that enable him to utilize his full potential. In addition to this, she meets parents who have been referred to her, or would like to consult her on their own, and offers them guidance on how to deal with their children most effectively.
