Emphasis is on encouraging the children to think and experiment with different figures, shapes and sketches and combining them into a composition of their own. As they move on, to a higher class, importance is given to the usage of different kinds of material for eg. Oil pastels, pencil colours, sketch pens, poster colours etc.

The curriculum in art comprises of topics like Line movement creating magical and innovative masks, cutting and pasting paper, shading with water colours and drawing and colouring various compositions giving emphasis to background and /or foreground.
