The musical evening “The Jungle Book” was put up by the boys of classes 3A, 3B and 3C on Saturday the 27th of Sept. 2003 at 5:30 p.m.marking the inaugural for the newly renovated Junior School hall.

The stage decorations coupled with colourful costumes added a realistic touch to the “jungle” atmosphere. The cute antics of  Baloo, the bear, the protective attitude of Bagheera, the panther, the fierceness of Sher Khan, Kaa’s hypnotic stare and of course Mowgli’s innocence kept the audience entranced and in fits of laughter. Under the guidance of Miss L. Edmonds, Mrs S Talwar and Miss V Sharma, the boys displayed their confidence in acting and speaking. The singers trained by Mrs A Dutta were at their singing best. All in all an entertaining evening, left the audience asking for “encore”.
