Western  Music

The main aim of teaching is to inculcate a sense of tune, rhythm and feeling in the budding wards. This is accompanied with values regarding God, ethics, patriotism, nature, festivals  etc. and respect for one’s environment. Breathing exercises, scales and voice exercises begin child’s singing class followed by the various songs taught coupled with action and small musical instrument like tambourine and triangles (by boys) and the main music with the piano. A child must be stage – free and confident while performing a song in front of an audience, so individual and group singing also features in these classes.
