“Columban Fun Fair 2006” was declared open after ribbon cutting ceremony by our ‘new’ Principal Brother Lobo.

It was held on November 25^th being (more or less) within the octave of “Children’s Day”.  

The brain child of the Middle school quietly and efficiently put together by Mrs. Sheel, the administrator and her hand picked team consisting of Ms. Agnes Kanan, Mr. Shahid Ali, Mrs. Simrit Sahni, Mrs. Gayatri Ramachandran and Mr. Hector Pyster, whose collective team effort resulted in an incident free carnival that culminated at 5 p.m with the much awaited Raffle Draw.

Why does one ever have a Carnival? This two fold aim was amply achieved through the various stalls offering food to fulfill any foodies fantasy ; really interesting games – one particularly bears mentioning “The Columban jail”. Here were placed some stalwarts of the school – held in custody till released for thumping sums (‘bail’). Our Principal, Vice Principal, Administrator and diverse teachers and parents were held amidst a great deal of laughter and fun.

The whole affair looked so effortless, but an event of such proportions rarely, is well done . Middle School - ! Once again you have turned up trumps !
