Prism an intra - school fest exclusively for the middle school section was held on 14th Novemeber’05 to give them a children’s day worth remembering. Flagged off with a special morning assembly, every event was conducted with great deal of planning and panache by the concerned teachers. The excitement and the competitive air made the November morning nip crisp and crackling. Some new events were introduced like turncoat etc. which the boys loved. Sketching, cartooning and rangoli had high standards of perfection, which one doesn’t normally associate with boys. But the surprise was cookery. With nearly 200 would-be chefs working away in the canteen, it was a sight to behold. Product advertising, innovative dressing and even rather sedate events like flower arrangement and clay modeling impressed the judges. Every event had the cutting edge, competitiveness and creativity that made it worthy of special mention. To top it all, the grand finale after the event, gave students and teachers an opportunity to shake a leg and let their hair down. A fitting finale indeed for a day well – spent both for the students and teachers. |
