One of the highlights of the award ceremony this year was the installation of a new award ”COLUMBAN OF THE YEAR". This award has been initiated by the batch of 1979 and its aim to honour a student of class 10 with this title, who is deemed by his Teachers, the principal, his own peer and the class of 1979, to truly embody the spirit of St. Columba’s school. He shall have been an outstanding and consistently excellent student and above all truly manifest the strength of character of a true Columban.
